The day temperature was abnormally high for last few days , so had to postpone the work on the sprinklers a bit. The front lawn is still to be done and the valves need to be put in at the back.
Right now the 3 small lawns at the back are done ( only the lateral lining and putting in sprinklers), trying to finish as fast as I can.
The good thing about the sudden heat is the flowers have started blooming ( about time , we had freezes this year in May second week). The roses are blooming and so are the sweet woodruffs (Galium odoratum). The bad thing is that the Clematis could only bloom for a few days as the spring was late and suddenly this heat ( 100 deg F last couple of days).
Enjoy the pic of sweet woodruff.

This is one of my favourite plants; so I was very happy to see you feature it. I love its faint vanilla like fragrance, both of its leaves and flowers.
Thanks.
I wonder how you came up with the name GPgardener. I live in Grants Pass, am a professional gardener, and recently started doing public litter pickup for donations, using a website I called GPgardener.com. I wanted to start a blog for the site, but the name was already taken on blogspot. So now I'm using GPlittercleaner.blogspot.com.
Google can't get my e-mail straight. E-mail me at rycke@gardener.com.
